The Countach We Know Exists Because of One Canadian.

As someone who thought they knew every corner of the Countach story, every variant, every sketchy handling quirk, every design, I recently found out I was missing a piece of the puzzle. I have been deep into this ...

Lotus 49 Voted Race Car of the Century. But Is It?

So, my good friend Rodney Butterfield just fired over this article. It's a great read, but I can't help but wonder who these voters were. Yes, the Lotus 49 was a proper winner, but can it really ...

The Taurus SHO: Too Fast, Too Beige

One of my Radwood-style favorites is the Ford Taurus SHO. I spotted one this morning on Facebook Marketplace. It was properly scruffy, too scruffy even for me at the $2,500 price, but I still had to pause and ...

Jaguar's "Bold" New Logo Is Just a Stripe on the Donkey

As a proper car guy, I've probably dedicated far too much of my life to the comings and goings of cars. But let's get into the meat of it, specifically Jaguar's recent "rebrand." Here's my take on why ...

About Trevor

Why this site exists

I'm Trevor, and I've been obsessed with cars for as long as I can remember.

It started in elementary school when I found a book about the history of the Lamborghini Countach. That was it. From then on, I wanted to know everything, how the cars were built, why they mattered, what made them different, and the stories behind them.

That habit never really went away.

A lot of great car stories never made it online, or they got buried, forgotten, or reduced to the same recycled facts everybody already knows. This site is where I get to collect the overlooked stories, strange details, and unforgettable machines that are actually worth talking about.
